hi, well at the moment i have been given a summer brief to complete. i ahve to take up a new skill and document my progress through any method including; video, sounds, pictures, drawing etc. the skill i have taken up is SALSA, i have been to 5 lessons and i've been pretty impressed by my progress, if i do say so myself. my goal for the end of summer is too have updated my blog with my illustrations and to have finished a substantial amount of work to take back to uni for the first critique of year 2. wish me luck!

brief title: alcohol
Again my digital camera can't deal with club and disco lights, maybe i hold down the capture button to long. these are raw out of my camera and at the time they fitted in really well with the project title of alcohol.old. brief- something from a charity shop
I decided to buy this doll, she was wearing clothes to big for her, i then decided to spray her gold there are lots of reasons for this.
here i used layers of felt, then using a sewing machine defined lines and shading. (first time)

my didgital camera is very bog standard, it cant take a normal photo, you have to have literally nerves of steel, the slightest movement and the image is blurred but on this occation these raw out the camera images I really like. i have only turned up the contrast to make the colours really bold.
